On My Own
I have been on my own for the past two days...no husband, no baby...just me. I feel like I'm single again! But I keep neglecting my packing duties...I'm supposed to have this place packed by the time hubby and baby return today.
But it makes me appreciate my family and how blessed I am to have them. I don't know where I'd be without them. They are my whole world. Yes, it's great to have a break every once in awhile but I am ready for them to come home. I know my little guy is in good hands with his daddy. My husband is a great father and I know he will do his utmost to ensure his son is safe and happy and fed! Looking around our apartment, yes it's full of toys and stinky hockey stuff and of course, scrapbooking stuff, but that is our life. We don't have the fancy house or the imaculate floors or walls but we have love and that's the most important thing in a family unit. Besides, the toys give the place character!!! We can' t wait to get to our new place and then my hubby will have his own area for all his hockey memorbilia and equipment. And I can't wait till he has his own space too!
Well, I have procrastinated enough...I need to go start packing. And wait for my boys to come home! I can't wait to see them!

Donations
In A Scrap Album Creations donates $2 from every album sale to two worthy causes: The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Eating Disorder Association to aid in funding for research and treatment centres in Canada. We believe these are two worthy causes that we want to make a contribution.

Also, I am making a donation to Locks of Love (hair pieces for children who cannot afford them). I'm growing my hair another six inches at least! Wish me luck!

Hi! Introducing In A Scrap
Hello! My name is Amanda and I live in Ontario, Canada with my hubby of two years and our wonderful almost ten month old son, who is the subject of a lot of my layouts.
I have been scrapbooking for almost ten years and stamping for almost 2 years. I love this hobby! It's so addicting! But it's a good addiction! (Do they have S&SA? scrappers and stampers anonymous?) It's so much fun creating new projects with all the great products available to us! I am on a design team for LSS and I teach classes and I am interested in getting some of my work published in a scrapbooking or stamping magazine! I am also in the process of creating my own scrapbook design business. Please check out my website http://www.inascrap.com/.
I got hooked on scrapbooking I think because I love to take pictures and I LOVE being creative. I have always had very graphic school projects and loved cutting pictures out and decorating my binders and cover pages...I don't know why I love it so much...I guess when I get passionate about something, I like to jump in with both feet. I have always dabbled in various "fad" crafts...my parents’ entire house had hodge-podged items all over at one point! I did folk art painting too; I’ve decorated cakes (and still do!). But for some reason, scrapbooking stuck. I love scrapbooking and I have, of course, jumped in with both feet again into stamping as well. It's amazing how your style changes over even a year though. I already want to re-do my wedding albums and I was only married two years ago! It's so rudimentary in my opinion but I guess it just shows how you grow over the years.
My favorite product line is Basic Grey…anything Basic Grey! Also, Flair Designs and Karen Foster Designs are great too…and my favorite stamp lines would have to be Hero Arts, Inkadinkado, and Stampendous.
