My weekend - Sunday

Okay so Sunday I've already updated (see below post about my cool mini album and scrapping with the girls!!) Thanks again ladies for the very fun afternoon! Claudia, your house is amazing....I LOVE LOVE LOVE your scraproom! (I'm a little jealous too!!)

The one thing I didn't update about Sunday was I got my Mother's Day breaky (yes a week later but better late than never!) Hubby was in a baseball tournament on Mother's Day so we were out of the house by 645AM...not exactly the time of day I want to be up at on "my" day! So I got to sleep in first of all (till about 8am...I could hear Trenton talking away downstairs!)...and I came down and Jason was making bacon and eggs and english muffins and homefries and strawberries!!! I'm so lucky! It was so good! And I had a tea brought to me!! I was a little spoiled Sunday morning!!





I'm so blessed to have a wonderful hubby like you, Jay! I love ya!! XOXOXO

Dandelion Boy

This was part of the Go Scrapping Amazing Race challenge - we had to post our favorite pic and then journal at LEAST 200 words about it! Here's mine:

You’re getting so big…I cannot believe you’re 16 months already….it seems like yesterday that I found out I was pregnant. That was over two years ago now and you’ve turned into quite the little man. You can walk, you’re starting to talk, you love life; your smile lights up the room!
I love that you explore your world around you…whether it’s the smallest piece of dirt on the floor to picking dandelions for mommy…your cute little red sun hat frames your beautiful smiling face as you hand me the flowers…little rays of sunshine that brighten up my day like you do. I can be down in the dumps and one look at you smiling or dancing or just being cute, and all is washed away. Your cute little “ah rov ya” (translation: I Love You) makes my day complete.
It warms my heart like the sunshine behind you to be your mother…this was my second Mother’s Day…well, actually my third according to me – I knew I was pregnant in May 2005…but I didn’t tell anyone then….I knew you were there…and you’ve made each one very special. I am truly blessed to have you as my son and I cannot wait to see what life has in store for you as you grow and become who and what you will be for the rest of your life!!

I'm so excited! They are altered canvases for my mom, mother-in-law and sister-in-law for Mother's Day...they all loved them and they all cried when they opened them!!! This is what they look like!!!

I'm off to do another canvas....should be fun...I got the idea off the Scrapbook Nook website. I'll post it when I'm done.

I just got my Mother's Day present from my in-laws! IT'S SO CUTE!!!

My mother-in-law loves making these shirts with pics! THIS, by far, is the best one so far! I love it! I can't wait till Sunday to wear it!!! I hope it stays this white.
