Hello! My name is Amanda and I live in Ontario, Canada with my hubby of two years and our wonderful almost ten month old son, who is the subject of a lot of my layouts.
I have been scrapbooking for almost ten years and stamping for almost 2 years. I love this hobby! It's so addicting! But it's a good addiction! (Do they have S&SA? scrappers and stampers anonymous?) It's so much fun creating new projects with all the great products available to us! I am on a design team for LSS and I teach classes and I am interested in getting some of my work published in a scrapbooking or stamping magazine! I got hooked on scrapbooking I think because I love to take pictures and I LOVE being creative. I have always had very graphic school projects and loved cutting pictures out and decorating my binders and cover pages...I don't know why I love it so much...I guess when I get passionate about something, I like to jump in with both feet. I have always dabbled in various "fad" crafts...my parents’ entire house had hodge-podged items all over at one point! I did folk art painting too; I’ve decorated cakes (and still do!). But for some reason, scrapbooking stuck. I love scrapbooking and I have, of course, jumped in with both feet again into stamping as well. It's amazing how your style changes over even a year though. I already want to re-do my wedding albums and I was only married two years ago! It's so rudimentary in my opinion but I guess it just shows how you grow over the years.
My favorite product line is Basic Grey…anything Basic Grey! Also, Flair Designs and Karen Foster Designs are great too…and my favorite stamp lines would have to be Hero Arts, Inkadinkado, and Stampendous.
