I'm a Sister

I've been chosen to be featured on my fellow scrappers' blog, Deanne and Carla and their other sisters (related-sisters)blog...it's the Sisterhood of Scrap and I've been asked to join their "family" of scrappers...so please check out their blog! They just finished their online crop. I wasn't able to take part because of family issues that arose quite suddenly but I know just from reading it that they had a lot of participants!! I was busy this weekend finishing up my design team projects with my ribbon kit!

I have four of the flowers left...that's it!!! I used it ALL!!!

This was a bonus project! I have JUST enough ribbon to create this tag!!!

I had fun creating these projects for the Savvy n Sassy forum. Can't wait to see next month's kits!!

Savvy N Sassy Designs

Here's are my first design for the Savvy n Sassy guest designer spot! I was given the Zany Zinnia Tropical Breeze Ribbon kit! I LOVED it! The white and orange lace along the left side is from the kit...the green ribbon and brown ric rac framing the picture is from the kit and the ivory flowers come attached...I just cut them apart to use them as individual flowers. These papers from 7 Gypsies match perfectly!!! I LOVE them!!! Thanks again for choosing me to design for you SnS!!!

This layout was created for my challenge...I posted a challenge that you had to cover the background of the layout...and I mean COVER....it is an Elsie Flannigan inspired layout! This is very much her style.

So I LOVE my dad!!!

So I just love my dad! He's the greatest!!! He's amazing....I bought these old kitchen cupboards from a yard sale for $20 and he created this!!!!!

I got my Savvy n Sassy ribbons today!!!!! So I'm going to get creating!!!!!!! Thanks Rhea and Share! I love them!!! And I'm passing on some of them in a swap!!! So Michele, you'll be getting some of these wonderful ribbons!!!!!

Savvy 'n' Sassy Guest Design Team Position

I got chosen for a Guest spot on the Design Team on the Savvy 'n' Sassy online store and scrapbooking forum. I'm so excited! The site focuses on using RIBBON RIBBON RIBBON!!! They feature ribbon kits each month...I can't wait to get mine....I think it's a great way to get a foot in the door! I'll post my creations when I'm done!! I've posted my first challenge too! Check out the site! It's a great place!!! I love it!

Scraplifting!

Well, I saw this layout that she created and I just loved the idea. So I "scraplifted" it for an order I had for a little girl's album. It's such a great idea!!! Thanks KimmyKimKim!!!

This is mine for the album. My thought was to put a beautiful little pic of the little girl in the middle of the sunshine. I was happy with the end result. Thanks for the inspiration Kim!

Basic Grey....again.....

I got another project accepted on the Basic Grey website gallery! I created an altered milkcan with the BRAND NEW Infuse collection. (Thanks Hannah!!) Here it is:

I know it's not a magazine or paying stint but it's a foot in the door. It's my name on a manufacterer's website! :D It made my weekend seeing that we came home early from camping 'cuz of the cold. I submitted the altered record too but it didn't get chosen. Oh well...
