Haven't blogged for awhile....will get to it by the end of the weekend hopefully! I've just been VERY busy...will update my life {in a nutshell!}

My RAK...{Random Act of Kindness}

Thanks to Renee for my fun package in the mail the other day!!!! I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the mail and there was a big envelope waiting for me! Here's what was in the package!

It's a great little keychain from Doodlebug that already as pics in it of my favorite men!! And the mini album will become my BOM {Book of Me}...I have wanted to make one of them for awhile but never had the perfect book! Now I do, thanks to Renee!! You're the best girl! Big Hugs!!!

Isn't it great?!! I think he did a great job on this card! I'm so proud of him (if you don't know what I'm taking about....check out blog entry below)...I have the sweetest husband! And I got a cropper hopper for Valentine's Day too! :0) Yahoo! That will be great for going to crops!

Sunday night my dear hubby said he needed a card for me for Valentine's day. So I asked him if he wanted to make one himself! He jumped at the idea! (Which was my first shock of the night!)

So I gathered up my Basic Grey Blush paper, stamps, inks, ribbons, embellishments, adhesive and paper trimmer and loaded up a serving tray for him to start creating! He went downstairs to his hockey room to watch the game and create a Valentine's card.

I had to sneak downstairs to get a quick picture though! Here is the proof! This will definitely make the scrapbook!

Can't wait to see it! I think it will be great! I will post it on Thursday!

RIBBON RIBBON RIBBON

I went to restock my ribbon today...and they had it on sale...AAHH!! That's not good...I had to trim down my purchases!! (Yes, I did put some back!!!)

This was the end result!

I can't say I don't have any ribbon now!!!! Don't worry Honey! I'm not going ribbon shopping for awhile! Plus, I have 15 yards coming from a ribbon swap I'm involved it! Can't wait for that...they should be here in two weeks or so!!!

Comfort Foods

I love grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup! It is my comfort food...I like to eat it when I'm feeling blue, feeling happy, feeling young...or wanting to feel young. We used to eat this a lot for lunch when I was younger. I makes me feel like my mom has made me lunch again and is taking care of me...I guess as I have my own children, it makes me want to have that special relationship with my kids like I have with my mom.

She is a great woman and my role model. I want to be successful like her...I want to be a mom like her...I want to have her talents...I want to emulate what she glows! She is so awesome...she's one of my best friends! Thanks Mom!

Now go and enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup! Cheers!

Coming Home from Parry Sound

I can't believe we're home in one piece...My hubby is a great driver....I would have been white knuckled....of course, Jay is driving very carefully and I was snapping pics! Here's the photos of our trip!
